On Sunday the 26th August a race day was held by TATA at Zwartkops Karting Circuit to support the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre. Two teams participated in the event, organised by TATA Africa Holdings SA (Pty) Ltd. The event raised a fantastic amount of R30 000! Well done to all who participated – all in all a great cause and a great day out on the race course.


TATA Trucks Western Cape Relaunch

On the 12th June TATA trucks Western Cape relaunched their dealership. CapeTown based Africa Truck Holdings (PTY) Ltd, a subsidiary of Dinram Investments from the United Kingdom have acquired the majority stake in TATA’s commercial vehicles activities in the Western Cape. The dealership will trade under the name of Africa Truck Distributors (PTY) Ltd. The business will continue to be managed by South Africans.

TATA Training – 17 September

Training for TATA employees was conducted by Ashley Govender in order to improve on the knowledge and skill levels of the SAPS technicians that maintain all the TATA Commercial Vehicles. These technicians hail from all the provinces within South Africa. The skill levels of the technicians range between 2 to 3 years on TATA vehicles.

These technicians were identified by the SAPS to receive training on all the latest modifications that TATA vehicles have undergone. Adherence to proper TATA service schedules is imperative for the effective operation of the TATA vehicles as well as understanding the use of special tools used.
